At least one of the Pasadita spinoffs, Mini Palapita on Elston a couple blocks south of Seafood City, remains pretty solid, and I say that as someone who didn't care for the original Palapita in Portage Park at all. It is a bit pricey though.

Gave the Oakton location another shot for lunch today and everything was on point, juicy, well season skirt steak and flavorful salsas. Not cheap but if they keep this quality up it will be a welcome return to the lunch rotation.
