Sesame seed bread

The kind they serve in the bread basket at Greek Islands, or in sub roll form in the meatball sandwich seen here. It has a moderately crisp crust and a highly chewy crumb. Pete's does a reasonably good approximation with sub and kaiser rolls, but the crust is lifeless. Where to find loaves?

If the crust is what you're after, D'Amato's makes a great one. Yeah, it's slightly dense for sandwiches but I use it for my muffalettas anyway since it's so good. And Jim Graziano turned me onto the fact that they'll make a custom sized/shaped loaf to fit your needs.
