Where to Eat [Steaks and Italian near Da River]

So here is my situation: I am looking for a nice steakhouse, my wife is hoping for some Italian food, and my son gets so riled up unless he has a good river view. Is there possibly a restaurant that meets all my needs? Constructive responses only.

Club Lago has no river view but is a very short walk to the Chicago Ave. bridge - just about as classic Chicago Italian as you're going to get, with chops and a strip as well.

Erie Cafe, which does not get a lot of recent play here (and which I stumbled onto through Pokemon Go, long story) has steaks, chicken vesuvio, homemade ravioli, and is right on the river just south of that bridge.

Chicago Cut, which is reported to have some management challenges at the moment and where I have not been in a few years, has the river view and the quality steaks but Italian quotient is modest - burrata and sides, though the chicken parmigiana gets good reviews.

It seems as though Gibsons Italia was planned to satisfy this exact request (and receive a chunk of money for doing so).
