The Randolph Street home of Grace, which closed amid a flurry of lawsuits, will become Yugen, a Japanese fine-dining spot.

This is so sad . . . a real step back in time.
The owners of Old Warsaw, the venerable Polish smorgasbord that closed earlier this summer in Harwood Heights, have downsized to open Polish Paczki Cafe, a spot that features traditional Polish sweets, as well as items like pork chops. They’ve taken the long-shuttered Oven Fresh Bakery spot at Harlem and Foster.

A favorite go-to breakfast spot has closed its doors. Gail's used to be 7 Brothers under different ownership. We stopped in on 9/9 to find it shuttered and a "for sale" sign in the window.
What happened?

Wow! Didn't see that one coming. Too bad. Gail's was a great spot for breakfast...especially if dining with a family.

Just stopped in. Decent selection of prepared foods at or below Pret a Manger prices. They have Farmer's Fridge salad-in-a-jar in addition to several other salad offerings. They also had a few different meal kits (Blue Apron-like) priced at $15.99 (for two servings, I think).

They are closed for the reversion and will reopen Tuesday June 12, 2018.
We tried Tipsy Cow twice and tried their beefs 3-4 times and it just did not work for us. I’m looking forward to their fantastic burgers available within a 200m walk of my house again!

The owners of Brgrbelly have pulled the plug on their creative Italian beef spinoff Beefbelly. It opened in late 2015 with eight gourmet beefs before briefly reconcepting two years later into a Mexican-themed spot named Tipsy Cow Cantina and going back to burgers three months ago.
