korean bimbinbop and wings in Skokie, Evanston or Northside

Hi, our family will be in Skokie today for a show and would love to try something new up north- I was leaning towards Dak since I love Korean wings and it looks like the veggie bowls would be great for my daughter.

Ideally would love a Korean place (not just bbq) that has good wings and bimbinpop.

But libanais looks interesting since I do love pita inn.

Or is there another great place in this area to try- that is not on the LTH List, but a gem and

If you're open to this cuisine, strong recommendation for Larsa's Mediterranean on Dempster (3724 Dempster St).
Lamb shish kabob and chicken kabob (not minced koobideh) plates, request garlic sauce. Mediterranean salad too.

The places on Dempster in Morton Grove might be just as good or better than Dak, and easier to get to. Maybe worth a look.

An unlikely spot for good BiBimBop is Evanston Grill — mostly a basic diner (not open for dinner) with a few surprisingly good Korean dishes.

BopNgrill on Sheridan makes quite a decent bibimbop, certainly much better than Dak. No wings, but very good burgers.

While not in the suburbs you’ve mentioned but I would look towards the Glenview area and it’s strong Korean community there.

Almost 10 places within a lunchtime drive from my workplace there.

Who woulda thunk it?
