I will agree with the bashing of the atmosphere and will agree that it certainly has a more unique vibe in terms of music and dim lighting, but I thought the food was for the most part worth at least one visit and I look forward to returning.
We ordered the wagyu tartare, which I thought was the only miss of the night, the sesame flavor overpowered the wagyu and when paired with the seasoned chips, was just too much. The steamed pork buns on the other hand I really enjoyed, nothing that will blow your mind but pork and bun both worth an order. In addition we had the king crab roll, warm miso scallop roll and the tuna trio. For two people this was too much food and we could have cut out one of the starters or the tuna trio. The sushi itself I thought was really good, in particular the Tuna Trio and Crab roll which had an enormous crab leg throughout.
Not having a full sake list is a bit odd, and something I wish they had, but the cocktail selection was good.
All in all as long as you are prepared for the atmosphere I would say give it a try.
