Finally made it to the food hall location of LaShuk Street Food. They got their start at the Wicker Park Farmer's Market and have now settled into a "stall" at the Politan Row food hall in the new McDonald's building in the West Loop.
I ordered the schnitzel which came with some hummus, baba ganouj, purple cabbage salatim, white cabbage salatim and Jerusalem salad. Everything tasted freshly made, especially the Jerusalem salad where the parsley flavor was somewhat pronounced. I also ordered a pita, which while on the smaller side, was extremely pillowy and accommodated a nice small sandwich made out of some schnitzel and salatim.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and not too far from my Loop office to add it to my lunch rotation.
