I stopped here at lunchtime while headed to Ava's Italian Ice. There is a variety of Thai steamed buns, Thai iced tea, shaved ice, and other snacks offered at a little kiosk in the station. The quality is excellent, and a conversation with the kindly woman at the kiosk revealed that she is the daughter of the restaurateur from Sticky Rice.

The quality and value (at only around $2 to $2.50 or so per bun) is excellent. The Thai basil pork is an instant favorite.

Frankly, I am beyond pleasantly surprised. I am even humbled to see such a thing at a CTA kiosk! To find delicious, made-from-scratch Thai treats at the kind of transit location that usually only houses mini-Dunkin' Donuts is a little Chicago miracle.
