Invicto - Mexican in Naperville

Went there recently to try it out. Since it has been on hungry hound, it was packed and had a number of service kinks to iron out. Kinda like a Naf Naf but Mexican, it has grilled meats, not griddled and frankly, it was delicious. Not the typical beans and rice sides though, mostly focusing on "French fries" or Avocado fries, stuff like that. Drinks like Horchata and something called custard shakes which sounded delicious but would have my colon in knots. If you plan on trying it I'd wait a bit because the Hungry Hound publicity drew many people to it. Its located in the Freedom Drive area where Naf Naf, Morton's, Maggiano's, etc are. The pork taco was delicious, as were the others. Beware they use lard.

Hit up the Vernon Hills location and I was definitely surprised by it.

Had a carne asada taco which was made better with the use of a homemade corn tortilla. Really liked their mulas, which is their version of a quesadilla. Pretty sure the flour tortilla was made in house too

The Mexican options up in this area aren't great, so nice to have another potential lunch spot
