I'd like to suggest to our office party planner some nicer caterers than the ones used in the past few years. we're located south and a bit west of the loop, in the UIC area.

I really don't want to see roast beef on buns, fried chicken, mostaciolli and potato salad at what's supposed to be a "nice" Holiday event.

Since we have to have it in-house (which already makes it sad), it would be so nice to see some different food, but stuff that's not so "far out" that folks might be put off. Just because we have a low budget, doesn't mean it should "low-budget".

    suggestions?

Blue Plate Catering does a nice job. I'm the Dir. of Mktng for another restaurant group, but our food falls into the bracket you don't want. I've used these guys for stuff and they do a good job.

    Check out their website.

    Ricobene's got the job.

Hotwings, mozarella sticks and mostaciollii win again...

    sigh. :(
