The Mrs. and I are in the process of remodeling our home. We will be gutting our kitchen adding a new MBR, bath, laundry, FR and LR, and need some help with the new layout.

Does anyone out there know of any good kitchen designers/stores out in the Naperville, West Suburbs area?

We will be going with the Thermador 48 inch built in fridge and microwave, Bosch Dishwasher, double ovens, 6 burner cooktop.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Kevin,

My suggestion may be a bit pedestrian for you, but have you checked out Abt Electronnics? I know they have a store in Glenview, but something makes me think they have a store out near you as well. I recently purchased a Bosch dishwasher from them (which I love btw) and they have a whole section of their store devoted to kitchen design that had me drooling. Anyway, since no one had responded to you I thought it was at least worth a shot.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the info....We are really looking for some assistance with the cabinets, countertop and layout.

I forgot to mention that I work for Bosch, and am planning on putting all Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau items in the kitchen....It makes a lot of financial sense to do so....

    Thanks.

I have a friend in the granite business and can find out if he's got designer and cabinet contacts (can't safely assume because you *know* what happens.....).

I'll PM you after I confirm...may be a few days.

Have you tried Angie's list? I haven't tried it, but my condo association used it to find roofers after coming up empty with the few contacts we originally had. We got good leads from there and selected one of them after receiving multiple bids. I'm gonna get on there to find some people for some of my interior condo projects.

We've nearly completed a gut kitchen rehab and I can highly recommend Von Dreele Freerksen (General Contractor) and Prairie Plus (Designers). Theyre in Oak Park.

Scott Stack and Jean Radford, respectively were the key contact people on our project
