Nothing better to help cut through the fog of Thanksgiving over-eating than a post-Turkey Day eating mini-marathon. Other than finding places that were actually open (becomes a bit tougher every year), the only parameter was keeping it to places where at least one of us hadn't already been. I'm not going to spend a lot of time evaluating because after the first couple of stops, as we filled up, it got harder to recognize the good, the great, the bad and the ugly. But there are none of these places to which I wouldn't return for another go . . .

    Stop 1 . . .

Impressive that you went to all these places and that you had multiple items at each place.

Some of these stops will be on my list for 2020. Good stuff, Ron.

As you well know, you were a significant source of inspiration in our trek this year. JT's was unknown to us before you put it on our radar and the after he saw your various, tempting posts about Hermosa, the boyo reminded me that he'd never been there. So, we thank *you*. :)

Probably less impressive if I admit that we ended our day with a shopping bag full of leftovers.

    Ronnie_Suburban,
I always look forward to following your family's
    post-Thanksgiving feasting.
Looks like a lot more fun than Black-Friday shopping!

Didn’t this used to be a part of an LTH wide tradition? Wasn’t it a 24 hour marathon crawl?

... or is that something else?

The 24 hour marathon is something else. We've done two of those "crawls" in, I think, 2004 and 2014.

Yes, that was something else. The first Chowathon took place in 2002 and predated LTH. The 10th Anniversary edition, took place in 2012.

My family and I started this more modest tradition on Black Friday 2007.

Thanks for the correction, Ron, and heck, almost time to start planning the 2022 edition of chowathon.
