Ciccio Mio, Brendan Sodikoff's new Italian restaurant in the former space of the short lived Radio Anago, is a winner. The speakeasy style restaurant is warm and comfortable, although very small which makes reservations hard to come by. Bread service to start the meal was amazing, olive oil and pickled vegetables included. To start we had the meatballs, burrata and prosciutto. All were fantastic. For mains we had lasagna, three rolled pieces so you got a crispy edge with each bite. Spicky vodka rigatoni, could have used a little more spice but very good. Salmon and truffle bucatini. I was worried about the portion sizes as prices are relatively inexpensive but sizing was great. The wine list also leans towards affordable with a separate list with higher end bottles. Our party had two cocktails, two bottles of wine, three starters and four mains and the final bill was $300 excluding tip, which was a bargain for the quality of food and ambiance of the restaurant. Reservations are tough to come by, but worth eating late/early. Fantastic meal.
