Post #1 - January 13th, 2006, 3:55 pmAnybody have any ideas of where to go after the Blackhawks game tonight. I don't think Bruna's is open that late. I'm looking for something along those lines,but doesn't have to necessarily be close to the United Center

Assuming no OT, one is typically out of the UC parking lots no later than 10:30 PM after a Hawks game (at least in my experience).
Greektown is still open; on a night like tonight that fireplace at Santorini's would be mighty welcoming.Objects in mirror appear to be losing.

Having never been, I can't vouch for it being any good, but I have been intrigued by the Beer Bistro (www.thebeerbistro.com) at 1061 West Madison. The menu looks like standard bar food, but the beer list isn't bad. Otherwise, I think the closest place near the United Center is Moretti's (1645 W Jackson).

Monday - Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 12 midnight
Friday, from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
According to their website, they have complimentary parking & shuttles to and from the United Center on game nights.
They also have a full service bar.

Just to provide a data point, was at the Hawks game this week and WITH OT we were out of the parking lot by 10 PM. Contributing factors were no fights and not too many whistles plus lackluster attendance meant very little (actually, none) congestion in trying to exit Lot K (stupidest lot config in the area, only ONE exit for that many cars). Was actually back at Canal/Taylor by 10.Objects in mirror appear to be losing.
