The Toronto Globe and Mail ran a story last week about what it describes as a growing trend of bloggers to take and upload for all to see photographs of meals they've eaten. Nothing new for LTH'ers. Click on the link to read the story: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/ArticleNews/TPStory/LAC/20060107/FOOD07/TPEntertainment/Style.

There's some interesting reading on egullet about a blogger in DC who was issued a cease and desist for taking photos of his food.

I think the chef is a certifiable loonball, myself.

I'm always a little embarassed to be taking pictures of my food while eating out with my wife or by myself. Of course, I should probably be more embarassed with my photograpy skills.

I like the comment cited in the eGullet thread that "The food and contents of the said restaurant are propriatary and confidential."

If they don't like pictures, just wait till they find out what happens to the food after it goes in my mouth.
