Post #1 - January 20th, 2006, 10:03 amWas craving shabu shabu last night, so we went by Shabu Shabu on Archer...only to find out it has closed. A woman at Phoneix House explained that there wasn't enough business to keep it going...so Shabu Shabu is no more.

So let me get this straight: there is neither Phoenix NOR Shabu Shabu in that location anymore? The state of the Phoenix confuses me.

Post #5 - January 20th, 2006, 11:46 amPhoenix was up and running last night. Maybe you're thinking of Phoenix Dumpling House, which I think was in the space before Shabu Shabu? Someone know the history? I'm not too familiar.
