Kudos to all Beefathon reviewers

I really appreciate the beef reviews posted on this site. Was driving around Arlington Heights on Saturday and had vague memories of my buddy taking me to some great beef joint after we got hammered playing the ponies at Arlington that day. So as I was driving Saturday, the scenery looked familiar and I ran into Buona Beef on Golf Road. Didn't totally recall being there before but I went in and had a beef anyway (pretty good) but it bothered me that it didn't seem like the place I had been before. So I came home and stumbled upon your posts and noted that Jimmy's - the place I had been before and loved - was just a stone's throw away on the other side of Golf!

Still remember the taxi's reaction when my buddy made him pull into Jimmy's so we can load up on beefs for the ride back to Chi-town.
