a little late to the party, i see i am...

...did you end up going?
i've gone there more often for drinks than for dining... but usually eat a little something when i'm there anyway.
i've found the food at X/O to be "just OK" ..everything seemed overly thought and overly seasoned...
.. my original problem with it was that its supposed to be Tapas, yet everything was over $12... at $12/plate, ordering a few of these per person (plus drinks) can quickly add up to a check where the money on food is better spent elsewhere. though admitedly their portions are bigger than some other places tapas portions... it now seems that they have changed their menu (as of late last year, i think?) from what their original menu was...
i've had a number of things from their menu, but nothing is that memorable. i do remember that everything seemed to be over-seasoned... everything comes with sauces that overpower the meat, etc..
that said... they are open very late, and at after 10 or 11 they have a late night menu that has less adventurous food that is decent (decent wood fired oven pizza, etc...)
in the summer, they have a great outdoor patio in back... half is a tiki bar and half is for dining only...
and they do have great drinks!
i go back, but more for the atmosphere and drinks than the food..
