I'm not sure if this is a fair/direct comparison, but I'm going back and forth on which to have dinner at tomorrow night.

Overall, if you've been to both, which do you consider the better dining experience (with an emphasis on food, not so much atmosphere)?

    TIA!

I think you have narrowed your choices down to two places where you are highly likely to have a good meal. If I were restricted to choosing between the two, I would probably select Semiramis. My choice is based on a variety of factors including food, the interesting neighborhood, BYOB, and the fact that I really like the owners.

Personally, I'm always a bit perplexed by the "A or B" dining out question. What brought you to the point where you are choosing between these two restaurants? If you are particularly interested in this style of food, and food quality is your chief concern over atmosphere, there are places I'd choose before either of these, particularly Salaam or City Noor.

We look forward to hearing about your experience at whatever restaurant you choose.

Here's a link to one thread about each place mentioned:

    Semiramis thread

    Maza thread

    City Noor thread

    Salaam thread

These places are mentioned elsewhere as well.

    Best,
    Michael
