Somewhere recently--God knows where at this point--I read about a new place started by the chef who is one of the sisters who owns Deleece. I thought I remembered reading that it was on the 3800 block of Lincoln. We were driving in the area last night, and thought it would be fun to try it. Either my memory about the location is wrong, or the restaurant has some stealth design that makes it invisible to the naked eye, but in either case we didn't find it. (Ended up at Wishbone, which was fine.) Anyone know the place, the name, the location?

Ahh--the entrance is on Byron! Clever of them to hide it in this way.

I notice the website describes Carol as former chef and co-owner of Deleece. Naturally, she's the former chef, but I didn't realize her co-ownership status at Deleece was also "former." Meaning, I guess, that she sold her half of Deleece to her sister (or some new partner). Was that to raise the capital for Sola? Or did they have a falling out?

There was a falling out between the sisters and Carol, as a very minor owner, decided to leave. Deleece is owned by a group of investors and not a strict partnership. Carol has investors for Sola and is not using much if any Deleece money from what I understand.

Yes, very cleverly hidden. We drove along Lincoln and missed it the first time.
