Weirdly, since I'm a northsider and I rarely make it furthur south than Chinatown, I have been there. A friend of mine who grew up that way had heard about the restaurant. We went for a special event menu with wines about a year ago. It's upscale Mexican and I would rate the food as above-average. But we got to talk to the chef who really impressed me because she was very young (only about 20) and was very excited to talk to us about her ambitious plans to get new dishes on to the menu. Her family members (her mom, and I think some siblings) work at the restaurant as well. It was the kind of place I thought could really progress/mature over time. If I lived out that way, I would definitely give it another try.
