I stopped by Polish Pierogi in Wheeling this evening for the first time. They are discontinuing business with their last day very likely tomorrow or Monday at the latest. I bought one bag of every pierogi they had left and a quart of mushroom soup. I inquired if any pierogi could be obtained later, they advised this is it.

If you had had any desire to go, then tomorrow is it.

I prefer Bobak's pierogi to Kasia's. Bobak's has a sauerkraut and mushroom dumpling that is fantastic. What a great blend.

Given that my wife is half-Polish, we don't eat it out often enough. Some Polish acquaintances recommended Tatra Inn on South Pulaski, which we love. As Han Solo said "she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts."
