Tika Masala

My family and I all love chicken tika masala, our favorites being from either Viceroy on Devon or India House on Grand. It doesn't seem to be a too difficult sauce to make but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone have a geat recipe for Tika Masala that would be similar to those as mentioned above? Do I need a tnadoor or can I get around it?

on allrecipes.com they have a Chicken Tikka Masala resipe which seems to get good reviews. Read the reviews as some say to reduce the amount of salt in the recipe.
