Interesting article, thanks for posting it. Does any know if Tensuke in Elk Grove Village is related to the "True World" in that the article discusses? I know Tensuke used to be called True World... Confusing. Tensuke's website does not answer the question either.

Thanks for the link to the article CrazyC. As I was coming home post-call from work this morning, I saw the newspaper headline at a neighbor's apt door saying "Rev Moon and Sushi" - I thought to myself, "What the heck?" - thanks again for the link.

The sidebar says that "most restaurants listed a number of fish purveyors" so it may not be all their fish. They took their initial list to survey from Zagat, Chicago Magazine and Trib reviews. With this company's clout, I'd be surprised if other non-sushi seafood places aren't also customers.

I have no problem with the concept, so long as the Church's tax-exempt status isn't being used to make the profit, and so long as they aren't violating health codes.

AREA RESTAURANTS SUPPLIED BY TRUE WORLD FOODS:
    Akai Hana
    Benihana (E. Superior St)
    Chi Tung (Evergreen Park)
    Happi Sushi
    Heat
    Japonica
    Katsu
    Kamehachi (Northbrook)
    Mira
    Nohana
    Shiroi Hana
    Starfish
    Sushi Kushi Too (Highland Park)
    Tank

RESTAURANTS THAT SAY THEY ARE NOT SUPPLIED BY TRUE WORLD
    Ra Sushi (N State St)
    Todai Chicago
    Tsuki
