Breakfast around Kilbourn park

Hey folks,

wondered if folks had any recommendations for breakfast around Kilbourn park? Normally we go to the garden sale and then have lunch at Taqueria Oaxaquena but we need to get going earlier this year

Not exactly breakfast food, but I think Buenos Aires Liquor & Deli (3100 N. Cicero) opens at 10. You chould pick up some delicious empanadas, have a cup of yerba mate, and engage in an enlightening discussion about Argentine wines on your way to the park.

Is Latin sandwich cafe still open/open for breakfast?

Not really close at all - but is mama kitty's still open?

Mama Kitty's doors were locked last Sunday morning. Drove by last night only to see newspaper covering the windows.

We drove past near the end of April on our way home from the Garfield Park Conservatory and saw that the windows were still papered over.
