Well, I decided to blaze the trail. I ordered from Honey Bear this weekend. The ham was good, but their whole business strategy is weird. I had such a hard time getting in touch with them or even figuring out if they are still open. They have very limited hours, no answering machine, and no website. They rely on people taking the chance on them and then coming back and telling their friends. They don't make the hams on site, so you must pre-order. They also have smoked turkey but that needs a whole week. I asked the guy what else they sell and he said "Baked beans and potato salad, but the potato salad people are out of town this week." And I asked, "how are your baked beans?" to which he answered, "they're alright." Well, just the ham for me.
The flavor and texture on the ham was good, it was a little thinly sliced, but that's how my mom likes it and she was the guest of honor anyway. They are very close to my house so I will probably continue to go there.
