My boss is meeting another principal of our company at the Hilton Chicago O'Hare tonight. It would be easiest for them to have a business dinner at one of the Hilton's restaurants. Is it possible that either one is an okay to good restaurant? If a restaurant in the neighborhood is very close by, they could consider it too. Thanks for any thoughts. (The restaurants listed on the hotel's web site: Andiamo and Gaslight.)

Gaslight, I know, is trading on the old reputation of the 50s-era Gaslight Club chain, which was where Hef stole the idea of the Playboy Clubs from, down to the keys and the skimpy server outfits. I have no idea how accurately that's maintained today.

P.S. Found their site. A lot of evocatively cheesy stuff on there, though the concept sounds like it's on its last legs. Well worth a look through the gallery.

Could recall the name until I searched here on "Higgins", but the Rosewood is a good option as noted here, along with a few more rec's: http://www.lthforum.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=3341

I have eaten at the Italian-ish place next to the sports bar in the O'Hare Hilton (I think it's called Andiamo) several times during flight delays, etc. and have found it to be serviceable, if a bit overpriced.

It's certainly far superior to anything available in the airport proper, has a decent wine selection, and would suit the purpose of a business dinner quite well IMHO.
I exist in Chicago, but I live in New Orleans.
