I was recently at a friend's house, and I started sifting through his (Korean) mom's cookbooks. I came across an amazing bilingual cookbook called "Vignette of Korean Cooking." I'm really interested in acquiring a copy of this cookbook, but it was printed in Korea and seems to be tough to find in the States. Amazon has two listed, but they start at $35 (and that one is a shady seller.)

Interestingly, if I search google for the title, the first link that comes up is a post from LTH forum:

If anybody is reading this who was at that event, got a cheap cookbook, and doesn't want it anymore, post here! :) Or, failing that, if you know any great bookstores in the Chicago or DC areas that might carry it, I'll take that info too. Thanks!

(Off-topic: just moved to suburban Northern Virginia 3 weeks ago, and the restaurants here are surprisingly good. Pretty $*!@*$ expensive, though.)

    Hi,

I saw this book tonight at Hi-Mart. They had books I, II and III ... I never knew there was more than one book.
