The Daily Herald is conducting a survey on hot dog stands in its area (west and northwest 'burbs: roughly from I-294 west to the Fox Valley and I-88 north to Wisconsin). If you care to opinionate on hot dogs, here's your chance.*

Suburban hot dog survey (Deadline: June 19)

*I have something of a vested interest in this survey, since I'm going to have to eat the contenders.

    Thanks for the tip!

    Another tip: Chili Cheese Dogs.

And they've got red creme soda on the fountain! It's awesome.

This might be redundant if you have access to what I sent to the Herald site, LAZ, but for the benefit of everyone else, Happy House is one of my favorite places to lunch in the west suburbs.
