Post #1 - June 26th, 2006, 1:30 pm1) Can anyone recommend soft serve ice cream near Lincoln Square, i.e. vanilla, chocolate & twist. We now visit Shelley's, 5000 block of N. Lincoln. Also today I saw on Costello sandwich website they are selling soft serve cones.
2) Does anyone know where to get soft serve STRAWBERRY ice cream cones? Years ago there was a place in Lockport that sold it, but long gone.Pops - You are deeply missed. There are many baskets of tortillas yet to share. I hope they have good menudo and carnitas in heaven!

And did that DQ look-alike near Devon and Lincoln (on the McCormick side) finally close, or is it still around?
These are a little north, but if you're going up Lincoln anyway....

Dairy Star! mr. sweetsalty used to work there- the last time I was up that way, I believe they were still around.
