Steak in E-town...

Where can you get a good steak in the Evanston area without having to go to Pete Millers? We can't take the loud music / iffy service in that place anymore but are craving a tasty steak tonight without going all the way into the city... any last minute pointers?

Not Evanston, but Skokie...

My family and I are regular customers at E.J.'s when we're in the area.

Previously recommended here.

I've been there many, many times and never had an issue with service or food.

There's also Narra at the Orrington Hotel. I have not dined at Narra (nor do I know anyone that has), but the menu is heavy in steaks.

While it's not steak houses per se, I can vouch for at least one good steak offering at:

I have been lurking here for a few months and have learned so much from everyone here. Thought I would post my two cents about Le Petit Amelia.

My husband and I had a very pleasant dinner there about 2 weeks ago. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is bright and relaxing. I had a very tasty steak with frites for about 18.00. My husband had the skate wing and loved it.

They are located at 618 Church and their number is 847-328-3333

it's not evanston, but it is in the area -- Myron & Phil's, in Lincolnwood at 3900 W. Devon Ave.
