I have to drop off my grandmother for a class in Palatine tomorrow at 9am. I am planning a visit to IKEA but would like to meet a friend for breakfast in the Schaumburg area. I love Original Pancake House/Walker Brothers, but I know they will be a zoo. Any other suggestions?

    HI,

Why not eat at IKEA? I've been to their food court a few times and found it interesting largely because of the Swedish influence.

There's a place called Maxfield's on Schaumburg Road that's not bad. Not quite as good as Walker Bros., but you might be able to get in.
