I've been to this festival in the past and there is food and beer. Nevertheless, I would not call this a culinary event by any stretch of the imagination.

Personally, I'd get a burger and a beer at Jury's or some Thai fried chicken at Spoon (or both) before heading to the festival.

When I've attended in the past (can't make it this year with the Red Sox in town), Jury's has always had a booth and always served a properly rare burger grilled over charcoal, if I remember right, FWIW.

Long-time-lurker, but this is my first post... anyhow I just got back from the fest and Jury's does indeed have a booth. There's also pizza from Chicago's I believe, and there was even a booth with Cevapcici - not sure where they were from, or if it is some new fest-style booth. The booth simply said "cevapcici" for what that's worth. Looked intriguing, but I had already done as a previous poster suggested and dined at Spoon. As for booze, the beer tent has added sangria this year - the Old Town School staff chopped the fruit up yesterday.
