    Seriously, I swear-I was looking at a website that lists desserts & everything was topped with "wet nuts". Can somebody 'splain what they are please? I am somewhat reluctant to use that as a search term from my work computer.

    HI,

    Here is a recipe for Wet Nuts, which are candied nuts whose glazed look suggests wet nuts.

    Quickly addressed to hopefully avoid any rude thoughts! :D

    Well, I figured I'd at least get a rise outta folks.. We've been giggling about it since I saw it..So, they're basically glazed-who knew?

    You can buy them by Smucker's in the grocery store as an ice cream topping. Walnuts, for example, in a sauce, lighter than corn syrup.

    Imagine back to 1988 if you will. A 16 year old boy on his first day working at the TCBY. A customer asks for "wet nuts" topping, and this boy had to go into the back and ask his boss (a twenty-something woman) if we had "wet nuts" for customers.

    <snicker> Yes, I was that <snicker> boy <snicker>
