Tedino's probably isn't among the top 5 Chicago pizza joints, but given the love of Italian Beef and the comments about giardiniera pizza on this board, Tedino's is worthy of mention.
I was there for the first time and had their specialty stuffed "World" pizza.
It is Italian beef, italian sausage, giardiniera, onions, and fresh garlic.
They did a reasonable job with the crust and the chopped garlic was sprinkled on top so it could brown. They seem to use HOT Il Primo Giardiniera and the sausage itself has some kick. So, the pizza definitely broke a sweat on everyone's brow.
They also do a "Thin Crust" version of this pizza. Given that they have a "super thin crust" option for other pizzas, I suspect the "thin crust" is not a Chicago cracker crust. From what I saw, it wouldn't hurt to request your pizza well done, especially if you get a thin crust.
Don't go expecting a world class pizza, but if that combo of toppings excites you, it might be worth a try.
