Not my choice, but Via Due it is....

Another couple has invited my husband and me to dinner at Via Due. I just had a fabulous meal at La Piazza in Forest Park and so I know I'll be let down. But, I'm hoping that the collective wisdom of LTHers will steer us toward the best(?) dishes on the menu. My tastebuds will thank you.

Hello there,

Via Due is the newer outgrowth of Via Carducci, correct? I haven't been to Via Due, but have always been very pleased with the food at Via Carducci. I believe that Via Due serves smaller, more tapas style plates of food. I could be completely wrong, however. My favorites at Via Carducci have always been their pastas with nicely flavored sauces. So, perhaps you can steer toward something like that.

When you do go, please post on what we can expect at Via Due.
