Pizza in New York

I'm going to New York in the end of August and I'd like to get a slice (or a whole pie) of real New York pizza.
I like it thin and crispy.
I'm going to be staying on Long Island in Huntington Station but will be able to get to NYC once.
Any suggestions?

"Real" New York pizza can be a lot of things, but crispy is not usually one of them (well, maybe just crispy on the edges). New Yorkers like the folding slices . On the other hand, this place on Long Island that Geo reviewed looks great. The pictures he took make me drool each time I look at them, and the pizza certainly looks crispy (and delicious). Based on Geo's post, if I ever end up anywhere remotely near this pizzeria, I am checking it out.

Sounds like you're looking for New Haven, CT pizza. I haven't read the other threads, but there's a place on Avenue B called Pizza Grupo (but I don't know if it's still open) that's a spin-off of one of the two big pizza places in the notorious New Haven pizza rivalry (Pepe's vs. Sally's?).
