I found these in Rome -- a combination of potato chip with catsup added in -- further proof of Italian culinary genius!

    Italian?!!

    Canadian!

Ketchup chips are all over canada. Next time you take a family trip pick up a few bags.

There's also "all dressed", which is a combination of barbecue, vinegar, and a few other flavors.

Ketchup chips are too sweet for me.. they taste like barbecue chips without the kick. All dressed are pretty addictive, and the barbecue/vinegar combination is remarkably good, once you get over how bad it is.

David, I've had those. The Clamato chips are different; they are really remarkable, starting with real masa and lime tortillas and ending with quite a bit of spice and dehydrated clam juice. If Alinea did a Mexican thing, this might be it.

You know, I couldn't tell from your comments (and the comments on the linked site), if you were tongue-in-cheek. Thanks for the tip; I'll try 'em if I can find 'em.
