Post #1 - August 21st, 2006, 12:20 pmAnyone know where I can find cheap spice tins? I'm not looking for the fancy clear tops or magnetic, just plain 2" or 3" tins with solid lids.

However, I have never been able to find them in several stores and the employees never seem to know anything about them. I'd rather not pay $5 shipping for $5 worth of tins so I'm still hunting for them in a store.

Everybody from Altoids on down buys from them and labels their tins, bottles, etc.
For instance, a 4oz round tin, 2.4" dia., with a clear top, is 68 cents on quantities less than a case of 288.
Shipping for 20 of those is $9.40 ground. Not cheap, but still you're looking at about $1.25 per tin shipped.What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?

glass bottles in varying sizes...comes with shaker tops and labelsBeing gauche rocks, stun the bourgeoisie
