Mama Falco's (5 N. Wells, Chicago) is closed. Or they moved. Anyway I could not eat there today and the windows were papered over.

I used to be a regular there when I worked in the Loop. I always had a soft spot for the place.

Does anyone know if they moved or have another location? I seem to recall they had another joint by the Board of Trade but I get to the Loop at lunchtime so rarely these days I could be wrong.

Yeah, they opened up a location in the building that's on the NE corner of Clark & Adams. There's a 7-11 on the corner, and inside there's a Radio Shack, Subway, Mama Falco's, and some other stuff.

I've only eaten at this one a couple times...I seem to recall the menu being significantly smaller, though they obviously still serve slices.

They used to make a pretty mean eggplant parm sandwich. Is that still on the menu?

Walked by today and peeked at the menu board...there was a "Breaded Eggplant" sandwich listed.
