If you're on Lincoln, try not to miss this new Coffee & Tea Bar, BOBA BEE. I'm addicted and will make a stop if ever in the area.

For one, the bar is extremely clean, sleek and posh... an interior I certainly I'd expect in trendy Lincoln Park. With their 4 plush sofas, large coffee tables, side tables and bar seating along the window front, it's definitely a comfortable spot to read, study, play cards, or just hang out. They have a slew of various magazines and I even spotted a deck of Uno cards available for patrons to play.

Secondly, they have a vast offering of 47 flavors of bubble tea, standard espresso drinks like those found in popular coffeehouses, milkshakes, ice cream and occassionally fresh sandwiches.

Third, they offer a "preferred customer" card which provides a "bonus" value for each purchase. The bonuses you receive can be applied to your next purchase or can be saved and redeemed for free food purchases. After only 3 trips, I already have $3.66 I can redeem for a free drink or 2.

Boba Bee does have a website (bobabee.com), however it looks as though its still in its construction phases so not all the information is available. With Koreanfest this weekend, do check it out while on the Lincoln strip.

Any idea if they have Wi-Fi? I'd love a new place to go to work. I'll check it out sometime soon.
Any particular drinks you'd reccomend? I'm somewhat of a boba-tea novice.

Foodie1 didn't say that it was in Lincoln Park, but rather that the interior looked like the inside of a Lincoln Park establishment.

I actually prefer my boba sans boba because they always put in too many of those tapioca balls. I'm pretty much done with them after eating 10 of them.
When I grow up, I'm going to Bovine University!

I called Boba Bee to ask if they have free wi-fi and the person that answered said that they do.

As for drinks I recommend, I've been on a Lychee kick lately and their Lychee version is pretty good - creamy, slightly sweet and refreshing. When I've visited the place early in the morning, they did not have tapioca available for the bubble/boba teas... but they were available in the afternoon. Also, tapioca is optional... and they will ask you if you'd like it in your drink. (Same price with or without.)

I've ordered the lychee boba without the tapioca twice now and on my third trip, I tried their brewed coffee, which is amazingly good and full bodied.

Their ice cream looked good, which included mango and green tea the days I visited.

And yes - this is NOT in Lincoln Park... it's along Lincoln Avenue (across from the Lincoln Office Building near Lincoln/Peterson cross streets), but stepping inside, you would think the place should be in Lincoln Park.

I stopped in 2 weekends ago and I love the place. I originally ordered a jackfruit boba tea, but the girl making it recommended that I try something else because that tasted like medicine! So I had the green bean one instead and it was delicious. I can't wait to try all their flavors!

if you're on Lincoln, drive faster as you get to the 5800 n block so you can completely miss this joint. Boba Bee is a farce - a vietnamese? owned boba joint in west K-town that doesn't serve boba nai cai.

when i asked for boba tea, i got this:

what the HECK is this? where's the tea in my tea? where's the milk? the bobas ranged from perfectly done to perfectly inedible. while boba is in the name, there's no description pertaining to "bobas" on the menu.

tho the space is indeed FAAAAbulous :gag:
