Well... it's High Holiday time again. The brisket has been braised, and the chopped liver chopped. Meanwhile, I prepare to once again elevate my serum lipid levels to previosly unimagined heights.
I've enjoyed participating in this forum over the last months and just wanted to send out my wishes for a happy and healthy new year to the LTH community.

    HI,

    L’Shanah Tovah, 5767!

I'm sorry the picnic conflicts with the Jewish Holidays. I am aware of it, though in the heat of finding our picnic permit, I completely forgot about it.

Fortunately, there is always next year to make amends!

    Regards,
    Cathy2

    Happy New Year!

petit pois and I were up late last night braising two briskets and stuffing about 6 dozen kreplach. This is the first year that my grandmother has handed over the kreplach duties to someone else (one month before her 90th birthday).

If you celebrate the Jewish new year, I hope yours will be as delicious as mine promises to be. If you don't celebrate this holiday, then I hope you have a delicious weekend anyway.

    Best,
    Michael
