After an emergency walk to Sabri Nehari tonight for some quick carryout, I'm left with the sauce -- or gravy -- contents of a rather large aluminum pan for nehari. I was mostly able to finish the gravy with a friend when dining in a few weeks ago (thanks to an extra garlic naan), but purchasing this savory perfection for myself has led to an abundance of extra sauce. (The meat is of course gone.)
So I've got a lot of extra gravy. The question I must pose myself now is: What do I do with it? I suppose I could head back to Devon tomorrow for some fresh naan to dip in it, but I'm not too adventurous when it comes to throwing in a fresh slab of meat to try cooking into a different type of sauce. Any thoughts on what to do with the juice, other than throwing it out?
I believe the most relevant topic I could find through the site search under Shopping & Cooking was
an extension of tatterdemalion's Cooking with Ma series, so please forgive me if this has been covered elsewhere. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
I'm lovin' it (the nehari, that is),
Dan
