It's been a long time since I've had those delicious fat/thick rice noodles so common in Thai cooking and lately I've found myself craving them. Due to dietary restrictions, gone are the days of popping over to Argyle to pick up several packages of freshly made noodles. So, I have decided I will try making them myself.
I started this recipe search by looking in my Thai cookbooks, but none had recipes for rice noodles. For the past couple of hours I've been searching the internet to no avail. There seems to be one recipe posted all over the internet that calls for Swan Flour, but no rice flour which is absurd to me.
Has anyone ever tried to make rice noodles? If so, would you be willing to share the recipe with me, point me to a source or offer me any tips. I'm willing to experiment, I just need a starting point. Thanks so much for any help.
