    Okay, this is non-food chat. This is so far from being food-related (notwithstanding the mention of bagels and seltzer) that I won't even attempt to rationalize its inclusion here.

    I post solely in the interest of honoring Vital Information, whose motto this article recalls. If you're a fan of Gilbert and Sullivan--and perhaps even if you're not--you may be interested in this article on a staging of The Pirates of Penzance in Yiddish.
