I won some gift certs on a radio show for Tucci Benucci....Iknow its a Lettuce chain - and I did look on line at their menu..I just wondering is you think its kid friendly? The prices seem to indicate that it may be. we would like to bring the kids ages 5&6, because if I'm going to get a sitter for "date" night, I want to go somewhere that I know is a for sure winner. give me your thoughts (if any) in this restaurant.

While it's been years since my one visit, Tucci Benucch is positively mediocre -- one of the worst LEYE restaurants. I don't think it's worth the sitter or would be an issue if you brought your kids. It's located off a mall corridor and tends to be noisy.

    Food Diva-

Tucci Bennuch is a perfectly decent spot. I have seen families with children so it should work for you. I personally enjoy the chopped chicken salad -- it's an easy, satisfying lunch when I want a break from the office.

Diva, clearly this is not a board favorite, but for an informal dinner with kids, why the heck not? Like most LEYE places, it's just fine for the whole family (in fact, given the noisy location, maybe even better for kids), and it is unlikely to offend if you know what you're getting into. I say: please go, enjoy, and let us if you find anything there you really like.

They have a kids' menu, so it should be fine for a family meal.

I'm not spending as much time in that vicinity as I once did, but I used to love that chopped salad -- with chicken, gorgonzola, bacon, tomatoes and all sorts of good stuff in it. I remember pretty good roast chicken, too.
