The usual hosts of the annual Thanksgiving feast(my wife and her cousin) have decided to hold it in a restaurant this year. We did Caliterra last year. It was excellent. The only place I have found west is Maggiano's in Oak Brook at $34.95 a head. Does anyone have any other sugestions?

For a different take I would suggest the Persian and American thanksgiving buffet at Reza's in Oak Brook. They've got the full selection of American thanksgiving foodstuffs, and some persian goodies thrown in, as well.

I've never been for the thanksgiving day buffet, but the new years one is pretty darned good.

I don't know how far west you want to come but Oscar Swan Inn in Geneva does a nice Thanksgiving meal. It's a quaint country B & B and they have a neat old stone barn that they use for wedding and other events. I've been their for business lunches and they do a nice job.

Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace does a Thanksgiving buffet, $25.95. I haven't been to it, but I loved their Sunday brunch.

Algauer's in the Lisle Hilton usually does a holiday spread of some sort. We did a few holidays there when the kids were small, including a Thanksgiving or two until the bride demanded leftovers...
