Post #1 - October 28th, 2006, 8:33 amThe Chow Poodle is involved in some sort of top secret arts and crafts project and finds herself in need of boucoup wine corks (vintage unimportant). Since we don't drink all that much, I'm prevailing on my fellow LTHers to save your wine corks and donate them to this (hopefully) worthwhile project. I'll be happy to come by and pick up any corks you wish to donate. Thanks.Steve Z.

Post #2 - October 28th, 2006, 4:43 pmI've got a couple dozen or so you're welcome to, but have you thought of asking a wine bar, like Bin 36, to save 'em, too? Or even a wine store that does a lot of tastings, like LUSH on Halsted.

Post #3 - February 28th, 2007, 8:51 pmI am officially ending my call for wine corks. Thanks to all the LTHers who have dutifully saved their corks for me over the last few months. Today, jazzfood gave me the motherload of corks that he collected on his recent business trip to Portland and...well let's just say The Chow Poodle had more than enough corks now.Steve Z.
