Wow. If that's the spread between retail and restaurant, then they must have a very conscious, customer-friendly "philosophy" about their wine program. Do you know if that's the case?

I ate there a few years ago when my cousin was exec chef there (although he wasn't in that day, the staff swore he was down in the winecellar taking inventory).
The things I found most memorable are gone from their on line menu: a vanilla shrimp appetizer was very good, and an outstanding rosemary ice cream served atop pineapple upside-down cake.

I saw a much larger spread on the other wines on their list. Perhaps they just got a great deal on the Atalon? It is a nice wine and certainly a fabulous price for it.
