OK, g.f. and I were coming back from Ravinia last night (Sunday, 10:30pm) and our last meal was at 2pm at the New Maxwell St. market (mega-mexican)
We were discussing our options for late night treats/snacks/bust a gut. As you know, I am always putting down the north sides choices for food because I am a fan of everything from da sout side....ok enough politics.
1) Me - Where can you go on the north side for just a slice of pizza, late night or not? On the south side we have pizza nova.
2) Me - Where can you go on the north side for a yummy dog or polish? On the south side we have Maxwell St. Polish along the Dan Ryan.
3) Me - Where on the north side can you go for late night chicken? On the south side we have Harold's Chicken. Well, we found Popeye's at Western and Addison to be open.
4) Me - Where on the north side can you go for good baseball? Sorry, I always have to throw that in.
Can anyone help out the g.f. by supplying some answers/choices to the questions above - other than taquerias please!!
On Saturday night we did enjoy a nice late-night plate of fried calamari for $4 after Summerdance at Cy's Crabhouse on Ashland (at the bar only).
THANKS!!

Pops - You are deeply missed. There are many baskets of tortillas yet to share. I hope they have good menudo and carnitas in heaven!
